Even if you're not spending an idyllic afternoon picking apples and snacking on cider doughnuts, there's plenty you can do with a jug of apple cider from a farm or the grocery store. Mix it with tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau to make an Apple Cider Margarita with a cinnamon sugar rim, or pour a perfect counterpart to bourbon in a batch of Bushels and Barrels.
