By now, the air fryer has solidified its position as one of the must-have kitchen appliances, right alongside a toaster and a blender. But with so many different brands, sizes, and features out there to choose from, sorting through all the options to find the model that is right for your lifestyle might feel like a slog. So we turned to two people who have made it their mission to teach people how to make the most out of their air fryer, air fryer recipe bloggers Jennifer West and Becky Abbott.

West and Abbott launched their Facebook page Easy Air Fryer Recipes in 2021. It started out with just 10 members, but a year later it had more than one million — their blog, Air Fryer Foodie, which features more than 600 recipes, followed soon after. Clearly, people were eager for more air fryer recipes. So the pair put their heads together, and in 2023 released Air Fryer All Day, a collection of 120 of their favorite air fryer recipes. And along the way they ended up testing many different air fryers.

West says that she and Abbott tested around eight different air fryers models, from brands like Phillips, Ninja, Dash, and Pampered Chef. But after testing the 600 air fryer recipes on their blog, plus the 120 in the book, Abbott and West ultimately decided that this Cosori came out on top. In fact, every recipe in Air Fryer All Day was made in their Cosori air fryer.

They started out using the Cosori 5.8 quart model, but last decided to upgrade to the 6.8-quart. They love it because the “6.8 quart basket is just a little deeper than the 5.8 quart basket, but both baskets can easily fit a 5 pound whole chicken, along with an 8 inch cake pan, casserole dish, or springform pan,” West explained.

This Cosori air fryer has settings for air fry, reheat, roast, bake and broil, and if you’re a newcomer to air fryer cooking six one-touch cooking presets for frozen food, chicken, steak, vegetables, fries, and seafood make it even easier to use. When used at its full capacity, the Cosori 6.8-quart air fryer can make six servings of food — enough to feed a large family or gathering of friends.

Measuring in at 11.7 by 12.9 by 13.8-inches, West says it also doesn’t take up too much counter space. But what really makes the Cosori stand out, is that it “has heating elements on both the top and bottom of the air fryer,” which  eliminates having to flip food. And thanks to a removable crisper plate, West also thinks the air fryer basket is much easier to clean than other models she and Abbot have tried.

Skip scrolling through hundreds of air fry models to find the one you like, and just grab this expert-approved pick. And if you already have an air fryer but want to upgrade to a bigger model with convenient settings, the Cosori 6.8-quart air fryer is for you, too.
