Ripple Large Pasta Bowl

This is one of my most used (if not the most used) pieces from the brand, perhaps unsurprisingly, since I’m a real sucker for a pasta bowl. It’s 20-ounces in size, with shallow 2-inch walls and a nice and wide 8-inch opening. It’s a little more tapered than other bowls I own, so it does a great job at keeping food tucked in. It’s made with hand glazed porcelain, and comes in colors that feel straight from the earth, like the wood-like burl shade, the rich fern green, and the speckled birch white (the shade I own). Its irregular border makes everything I put in it all-the-more picture-worthy, like my homemade gnocchi, my squash panzanella salad, and my simple noodle stir-fry. Despite their delicate look, these are incredibly durable and weighted and can go right into the microwave and dishwasher.

Ripple Dinner Plate

This is my other most-prized piece from the brand. I absolutely love this plate, and I use it probably in an unconventional way, as it’s my go to cake serving dish. It’s not as dramatic as a cake stand at the center of the table, but it’s a bit more functional yet still design-focused. I just love the irregular shape it has, in addition to the plate’s thinness all around, as it plays off the rustic style I strive for. It’s 11 inches in diameter, which fits any cake size I make at home, and it is made with that same durable glazed porcelain. The plate lip — the most important thing when serving cakes — is thin and barely noticeable, making it easy to cut and maneuver slices out of the cake without anything getting in the way. The lip however is just high enough to keep everything on the plate whenever I do choose to use it for conventional meals.

Breakfast Bowl

This cute bowl is another piece that’s well worth grabbing, especially while it’s on sale. The brand calls it a breakfast bowl, as the 6 by 3 inch shape is the perfect size for holding yogurt with granola or a bit of cereal. While true, I find it’s also an amazing size for snacks and sweet treats like savory roasted nuts for guests, some homemade trail mix, a nice serving of ice cream with toppings, or even some grilled fruit with whipped cream and cookies on top. It’s a nice portable bowl to have in situations where you want something that’s easy to hold as you snack on the couch or have some breakfast in bed too. They’ve absolutely made their impact in my dinnerware collection, and they’ll do the same for you, too. 

15-Inch Oval Platter

What better way to serve appetizers, salads, roasted vegetables, and desserts than on this stunning oval platter. I don’t own this option from the brand, though it’s one I’ve had my eye on most. It has that same organic-edged design that makes the dish imperfect in the best way, with slightly raised walls to keep whatever you’re serving in its place. Made from the brand’s glazed porcelain, it’s also microwave- and dishwasher-safe, which makes for easy heating and cleaning when the party’s all said and done.
