ByteDance’s office software platform Feishu, the Chinese version of Lark, is set to launch an artificial intelligence-powered assistant called My AI within the app, according to an official announcement on Tuesday. While no launch date has yet been announced, demos showed Feishu’s AI assistant helping users summarize meeting notes, generate reports, and optimize and rewrite content, positioning it as more than a chatbot and closer to Microsoft’s Office Copilot. Rival Alibaba is said to also be rushing to add AI features to its Slack-like app DingTalk. [Feishu, in Chinese]
